I thought I put that info in when I first joined in August 2017,being old school must have done something wrong I'll check into it if I can figure it out lol.

thanks for responding my vehicle is a 98 GMC k1500 mostly stock 269k . Been keeping me busy with repairs lately mostly due to rust and I guess bad luck but other than that she purrs'.

could I and should I use waste oil in my fuel for lubrication of the injection pump

Some times I wish I was way south of here LOL.

It's good to know I'm not alone on the ambition thing the hardest part of the whole job is getting off your ass to start it.LOL and yes always regret letting someone else wrench.

I'm hoping to have it fixed and running today if I'm ambitious enough.or better yet get lost till Monday and hope my buddy gets ambitious before then.lol

Hoping it’s a line under the pump or connection to pump.this is mostly new to me, I have no problem wrenching diagnostic work I suc at. Thank god I have help,if I can salvage parts from this motor I can apply the money saved towards my wish list. Thanks for the info

I brought my truck to a friends shop to deal with a fuel leak,found fuel coming from I P area. He has an engine removed from a boat buried in the catch all area of the shop.he thinks it’s 6.5,I will dig it out soon it’s mine if I want it. Not sure what year or even if capatable. Complete mother...

I agree with sctrailrider, but getting the shop to agree would be next to impossible.

Consider upgrading your AAA , for $83 a year AAA pays first 100 miles.
