Actual, honest, real world MPG from your 6.5

I have been around long enough to remember the national speed limit of 55. Best I ever got was 22 and I have the extended cab version. Usually average around 18 with my set-up. An "F" intake may help or opening up the plenum on the "S". Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

Yeah. It's important to make sure that the antenna is grounded where it's attached.

Check that your antenna is properly grounded as that will make a difference in swr readings.

Ordered a 108 for my cb

I used to have a 108" whip mounted to a heavy triple mag mount on top of the cab of my pickup. 9 feet of whip plus 6 feet to the top of the truck made for loud noises from low hanging branches and a sundry of other things. Replaced with a Predator single coil as it can be purchased with...

    Replacing fuel lines....

Advice from any that have done this would be greatly appreciated. Do I go with factory style hard lines that can be ordered in sets for front and back or create my own from diesel rated fuel hose? How much of a pain is this to do? I'm thinking of tilting the bed rather than removing it and not...

    PMD which is the best

AutoZone offers what appears to be a Flight Systems - it ain't cheap. But you could get the harness and heat sink and build your own and take advantage of the warranty offered. Part Number: 904-104 Warranty: Limited Lifetime Notes: Fuel pump driver module On a side note. Have had...

Brand new product for the 6.5 OPS EXT HOSE

Supplier for the OPS extension. I used braided hydraulic hose with npt fittings (local hose shop). The Kennedy harness bypasses the OEM OPS (second sensor) but OEM is needed for Oil Pressure Gauge . Cost was around $175 IIRC, back when. This set-up takes the OPS completely out of the equation so...

Brand new product for the 6.5 OPS EXT HOSE

Been there done that. Kennedy harness takes care of the rest. Nice to have a supplier rather than diy.
