Core supports are the same. You just need grill and associated lights and hardware. A little wiring is needed to go to composite headlights but nothing major.
I swapped the other way, Silverado to w/t
IMHO, I would take the $600 you would spend on a diverter and put that towards a turbo that doesn't require "add-ons" to work for you. I know there are people here that have made it work for them, but it just doesn't seem pragmatic to me.
This kind of reminds me of cummins guys that run a large...
I find USPS to be very fast. It seems to me that if they want to make more money they need to slow down their "cheap" services to give people incentive to buy priority....TX to California in a 10lb box took two days, when they said it would take 7 on the cheap service.
I'm curious to see what you find with the starter. I wonder is the bendix is now stuck in the out position. I can see how that COULD cause a stall, maybe, well slim chance anyway. Especially if the remote start somehow engaged it during driving, then subsequently killed it.
Kind of grasping at...

Recently got a dell venue 8 pro for $200 that is just right for what it is. The great thing about it is that it uses full windows 8 so you get the tablet experience with apps and such, and you can install and run any regular windows...
I need to troll some JYs to see how the clutch masters bolt up between the early and late model GMT400s.
I specifically bought a later model transmission as it will bolt up to a Cummins bell if/when I ever get to that swap. Good point on using the early bearing retainer for the external slave...
Just to add on to this thread....
I would like to install the NV4500 that has been sitting on my garage floor for over a year. Truck is a '94 auto, tranny is from a '98. I don't have a bell housing yet. Should I buy the later model bellhousing with internal slave and the later model clutch...

I think I would rather spend a couple hundred and get the suburban tank in there and get more capacity.
I have kicked around this idea for quite some time, but...
Like mentioned in the oilburners thread, most bosch IPs tend to have this from the factory. It is in my VE pump (92 cummins) and my MW pump (85 Mercedes 300sd, OM617) and they are generally bypassed by the oraler crowd.
For future reference, when they started putting HY35s on the automatics, the hand shakers got this HX35 variant with the waste gate attached to the compressor housing. It was in the later VP years, 01-02 iirc.

Mine turned out to be a bad connection at the PS battery from an aging "battery bolt" mod on the negative side, which as we all know...wait for it...check your grounds first :)
