    Are you asking why the GM engineers did something? Don't know. Kind of like why did they make it so you have to take off the injectors and intake manifold just to take off the valve covers. Or why do you have to strip the whole front if the motor just to change a water pump. Who knows...

    I'm sitting here in front of my screen with popcorn waiting to hear how this all plays out. I would love to hear how this combination plays out when towing. Seems like 60% could be great for day to day driving in hot climates and grades unloaded. Then when towing, just override and instant cooling!!

    I live in Palmdale ca and have heat here now. I'm about to rip out my bolt on water pump and go to the screw on water pump, but if you have this soon, I can wait and spend my money with you instead of the upgrade. Know when it may be avail?

    Max 40%. I've tried everything from 20 to 50%. But I'm at around 40% now. I'm pretty sure unloading d up a hill i should stay at the 195 stat temp.

    Have the restrictor and have taken both coolers off and pressured washed them clean multiple times. My fins look good on the condensor and radiator too. It was rodded and hot tanked at a shop. Haven't done the IR temp verification yet but at about 220 my cap blows and steam comes out

    I've had my rad rodded and cleaned out my cooling stack many times. Running the metal 9 blade fan and still was running 210+ unloaded up steep grades without the clutch kicking in. I also have a CKO HX40Wi on it too. Tried all stats combo, have a HO pump and dual stat set up. No air in system...

    For those of you using kenndys clutch is it the bolt on or the threaded on? I tried two of the bolt on ones and didn't have good success with it. I'm thinking the threaded one is the better one from all the post I've read so far
