Hi
Have skanner but haven't scanned yet. Figured it out to be a fuel issue and no Readings on a skanner. But will do it. Been thinking if the filter harness might be the issue?
Hi all, thanks for Your replies. Thought the Walbro solved a lack of fuel issue? But honestly, haven't checked fuel pressue between FFM an IP. Will do ASAP. With the T-valve open ther's a lot of fuel coming out of the hose under the engine, opening up the bleeder screw at the fuel filter shows a...
Truck is a 1995 Tahoe (not in my sign). Heath chip, Suburban no EGR intake, Walbro liftpump, S&B air intake, 4" no muffler exhaust
ISSUE:
When i make a quick step at the ACC petal,(dont have to floor it) the engine stumble and nearly dies. If releasing it a little, the engine comes

Hi Leroy.
Thanks for asking :hello:
Norway is doing quite well at the moment. Almost done with a "few" projects. Just have to put in a new (used) engine in a pick-up, then done. (And vacation from job and project cars :)
In fact I've delt with four trucks the last months, finally I ended up with...
FYI if any interest?
Got the MagHytec deep pan (part # 4L80E-A) into the Suburban the other night. The pan itself was more or less straight forward. Had to remove the mount off the crossmember to access the rear three bolts, other than that no problems.
Used machinist blue on the three spots in...
Thanks to both of you.
MadMaxx- the link is to a 4L65 trans filter, on the same site MagHytec lists the overall height for a 4L80E filter to be 3,65". And that's what I have.
And the pan has three recessed spots for the filter to rest on. But top of filter neck still 1 cm / 1/4" lower compared...
Hi there.
Just purchased a MagHytec deep transmission pan, part # 4L80E-A. Instrucion manual says use a deep filter only and the part # for the filter is 24210956 (GM/DELCO)
Have any of you tried this combination of filter and pan?
Reason for asking is that the recommended filter is exactly...
Hi.
Consider to change the transmission fluid to synthetic. Do I have to, or should I, flush the transmission and cooler? Or is it good enough to drain, replace filter and fill it up with synthetic oil? Which should make a close to 50% mix of regular and synthetic fluids.
Thanks
Hi.
A while back I purchased a tune for my 1997 K2500 pick-up. Engine blew and I've purchased a 1999 Suburban K2500. Is it possible for me to put the tuned ECM from the pick-up into the Suburba?. Issues? In fact I do not understand if not? As far as I know the tune only effect the engine and...
Hi. Thanks again. Seems like the crank is beyond saving. The #1 rod seized, bearing spun and ate the bearing fillets, crank s "ground" at least 0,5mm and the rod is way beyond to be re-used.
Does anybody know if the reason for performing a selective fit of bearings is because of un-even crank...
Possible to grind the crank anyway? Seems like its a common opinion that its not possible or at least not something to recommend, to weak as is?
Thanks again
Hi.
Thanks. I understand and it sounds ok to selective fit the bearings except for mixing halfs of different thiknesses. As long as the outer diameter of the halves are equal, there has to be an edge on the inner diameter of the halves, where the halves meets in the journals? I see that I've to...
Hi guys.
When first assembled Service manual says the main bearings are selective fit. What do you do when you replace main bearings? When explained in the service manual it also seems they mixed different sizes upper and lower halves of bearings in the same bearng , sounds insane to me? Do you...
