Thanks for that Jrsavoie, I will have to try that. I have an old set of jumper cables i was going to use just trying to find the wire ends that would fit the applications and the wire from the alternator is really small, lets just say it looks like it needs to be bigger.
i be leave it was if a wood chuck could chuck wood then we would try to figure out how much wood it could chuck. And good point i guess i could just add my own grounds i have extra battery cables i could use.
Alright guys i spent my Sunday going over every ground and cleaning them. The truck is still running like it was, one thing i could not find is the ECM there is nothing under the hood but a fuse box and if it is under the dash witch side and hopefully some direction so i can find the ECM.
It was my honor to serve alongside the men i did. And for the symbol of our flag. Just not its politicians.
And i was thinking alternator but it only has less then a thousand miles on it cant hurt to have it tested. And both batteries are properly grounded to the body and engine.
I still need to check all the smaller grounds but just cant find the time.
And yes i will unplug and re plug the ECM. and also good points 94turbo about the fuel lifter.
And the wheel base for the front is 5'9" center of tire to center and then the back is 6'6" from center of outside tire to...
I don't have a trans dipstick its a manual and i didn't see any around that area except the back of the engine to the frame and then to the firewall but i cleaned that one. However i did not check a around the trans ill try and check that also.
I found out that if i run the lights and the fans for the heater/ac the truck idles fine i wonder if it might be the ground on the PMD well i think its the PMD its on the back of the fuel distributed i be leave it has a ground back their.
I'll have to check that, maybe tonight.
Well i spent some time Sunday taking off and inspecting all the grounds on my truck, cleaning and then putting them back together.
The two from the batteries to the engine and from batteries to body also the one ground wire from the back of the engine to the frame and fire wall and wiring...
Just checking to see if signature is working.
And the PMD was remote located with a heat sink.
Still have not checked all grounds yet should have time tonight.
