There has been times when I push in the clutch peddle it would not disengage the clutch. A few pumps of the peddle would get back to normal (as I know it). I went to the bank and backed into the parking spot and to stop I had to turn off the engine. After about 20 minutes it did work and off to...
I am looking at buying a auto trans, maybe a 700r4, that was bolted to a 6.2. This was in a 1971 suburban 2wd. The owner sold the diesel and wants the trans gone. He says that it had a switch on the dash to have it go into OD. He thinks it was from the 80's.
He states its a 700r4. If so, does...
I bought a 3 pod A pillar mount and it seems to snap over the factory plastic cover on the pillar.
My concern is it looks like there is no room for gauge wires or tube for boost gauge. Does one cut out the
factory plastic?
Drill large enough holes to run items inside pillar? Use screws to...
Do any of you that run the ATT turbo have the specs for the unit? I understand the back pressure is light and the boost is not excessive.
So I would think the engine runs cooler under load. I my have too large xover pipe (2 1/2") for a ATT. Truck has a 3K lbs. 11' camper and when I tow a...
I have a chance to pick up a Banks kit for 200$
intake with parts, two manifolds with crossover, turbo (don't know what style)
and a starter.
Would the unit be better than the gm-3 that I have?
Thank you for some advise
Are these turbos to small for the 6.5 engines? I saw them on e-bay and they were for the 12 valve dodge trucks. Also no waste gate like the 40's.
Price is less than the CKO 40's. Ha anyone ran one on their truck?
Thanks for any advice

Hello, Does all these hx40w11 turbos on e-bay come from the company or fellow "Indyracingparts"
While looking, it seems that all the ads are from this party.
I am ready to order and want to get the turbo from the same company others on this board got there's from.
Prices are $279.95 and one...
I installed the DE 4" exhaust and have the 2.5" xover. The turbo is a GM-3 and the arm that hooks to the WG shaft is tack welded on to the shaft. It seems that the counter clockwise movement of the arm closes the WG and when I clockwise the arm if open, but the arm is horizontal toward the...
