i was wondering, what in the more experienced opinions is the earliest i should drive my pickup on the highway, the highways here are 55 and you can't even drive that fast for a lot of it. i have 60 miles to drive, and i only have about 75 miles on my reman, would it be a bad idea to drive that far?
or am i going to have to get a new one, i already got it soldered and its solid, just not sure if its going to get hot enough to turn the solder back to liquid

i just put in a new ip from pensacola diesel, installed on a reman longblock from international diesel, started up after 20 sec of cranking after never starting with my old bad ip. it blows white smoke and idles rough, but if i hold it steady at about 900 rpm for 30 sec or so it stops blowing...

ok ive got no codes now,and fuel to the injectors, so im guessing its air in the lines still, or pump timing, i'll start with air. whats the best way to bleed injector lines, in sequence one at a time, or crack them all or what, if that doesn't do it i'll rip the waterpump off and check timing
