And just saying guys, my ac delco starter is retailed 575$ at lordco. With my discount its like 326$

That shall be my plan for this afternoon. I can have ot tested but my parts store offers no warranty on starters or electronics

This is not the same starter that took the teeth out, happened with previous owner so i put a new starter in and had to change the flex plate, also put a starter bracket on

And jesus i have a project truck... ebrake is locked , clump of loose wires just fell out from under my dash.

Gotcha, super off topic but i rotated my flex plate both directions to get the bolts on, thinking backwards would that have a negative impact on anything?

No, which is where im stuck. Grounds are good. Brand new starter.

With it in neutral it clicks quietly. But i have full batterys and no crank
