Only thing that concerns me is the hot idle oil pressure is getting lower. The factory gauge is what a friend of mine calls a lie-o-meter. Thinks the factory made it read higher to keep people happy. I'll have to check it one of these days.

I'm not sure what year they changed but the early years were prone to what they called slugging. Basically liquid freon would settle in the the pump and when it starts it locks up.. the later years had it programmed in to pulse start it. Doesn't really fit your scenario but.......

Another way to check ujoints is after a drive crawl under and feel the caps. Careful though a bad one can burn you.
