swap heads with him. he'll proly be happier with a 6 row on the 7720 than an 8 anyway.

    Farming Thread:

you can get some dished out duals that work really well with a 6 row head. they are sucked in more so they don't rub the outside row. i'll see if i can come up with a link for ya.

Turn up pump on a JD 2320 ?

some people don't like to run 15w oil in the colder areas like will has. here in ohio we don't have to worry about that. i've run 15w oil in my s10 for 8 years and no problem even when it gets down to zero in the winter. what kind of a warranty did you get tim? hours/years??

Turn up pump on a JD 2320 ?

tim, we use deere filters on all our tractors, even the case. pretty reasonably priced. i would think you'd be able to use the 15w-40 that you use in your truck in your tractor. keeps you from having ten different types of oil laying around.

    New Injectors

UPDATE: injector work is done. i got the truck back from the dealer today. they changed the oil and the coolant, and didn't charge me for either. the only thing i got charged for was the other work that i requested they do (vacuum pump and air bag sensor). both of those items were done very...

Turn up pump on a JD 2320 ?

my dad has a 332 JD mower. it has a three cylinder diesel in it. its the same motor that is in the 855 & 955 compact tractors, but the bigger tractors have more HP. as far as your situation goes, i don't know if i'd worry about getting the extra 2 hp out of it. proly void your deere warranty.

    New Injectors

the pump would have been covered, except my truck was put in service on 5/30/03, which means my 60 months is up now. oh well, i'm not bitching because he priced matched gm partsdirect and came down on labor for the pump.

i've got 92,7xx on the truck now. its graff auto mall in fostoria, OH. they seem to be decent to work with so far. i think they're going to have my truck over the weekend tho, which kinda sucks.

    New Injectors

took the truck in this morning to get a couple things checked out, mainly a check air bag message and rough idle. called me back a bit ago to tell me that the front air bag crash sensor was bad and that it would be around $200 to fix. also checked the injectors and said that one was over fueling...

    vacuum pump

i've got an appointment at the dealer tomorrow ot get my injectors checked. i'm assuming they are going to tell me my vacuum pump is bad as well. i believe its supposed to be covered under the 5 year/100K emissions warranty (which expired about 60 days ago). if they don't offer to replace it for...
