check the bleeder screw too. if you've tightened it up too tight it'll be stripped out and bleed air in.

its definatley a damn nice mounting spot, nice and tight and clean, but i think it'd be hard to hear unless that was a front speaker unit.

    belt length

ken, i did some more digging and by comparing information on the goodyear website with the info from autozone i think you need the same belt as the 145 amp alt w/o vacuum pump, or the 4061187 belt. its the closest to your length at 118.75.

    belt length

not sure, but i'd go to autozone and buy the three lengths of gatorbacks and figure out which one you need. you can search for the different part numbers on their website by entering in your vehicle and searching for "gatorback".

    Towing question

i wouldn't worry about the added weight of a little extra fuel in your tank (800lbs or so). the toolbox in the bed of my truck is jammed full of tools, chains, jacks, and i always have my regular toolbox in the bed of my truck as well as blocking, etc. i pull the load in my sig all the time and...

Transmission difficult to go into gear only when cold

see if you can find the top of the cable and squirt a bunch of WD40. i had a similar problem with a fuel shut off cable on my wheel loader. wd40 seems to fix a lot of shit.

    Towing question

200 miles per tank? you're getting less than 10 MPG? you should only have to fill up 3 maybe 4 depending on road conditions and wind.
  17. busdriver75

    belt length

are you sure its a 130 amp alternator? if so, i think you might be out of luck. looks like gatorback only makes the belt for the 105 and 145 amp alts.

    Pillar Mount Pyro & boost

i'm getting ready to mount my pillar and gauges next weekend, and i'm looking for some info from the guys who have theirs already installed. is the pyrometer thermocouple that is supplied from autometer long enough to get from the passenger side manifold to the driver's side pillar? or do i...
