Snow season is coming, are you ready?

Well i had my neibor come with his 1500 chevy and hook up to my plow and the all functions of the plow work fine. I pulled his isolation module and tried it in my truck, still nothing works. All fuses are good, i have power into the module but no power to the controller or any lights. WTF!!! I...

My new Car carrier motorcycle hauler

Man i really dont think you will like it, if need be i can take it off your hands so you wont suffer):h. As far as V-nose VS flat nose, i dont know. My 14' V-nose is like towing a parachute, sometimes i wonder if the more surface area of the V-nose is actually worse due to more surface for wind...

5.7L Vortec, Is it an Interference engine?

Like said above they are not known to be a problem, doesnt hurt to replace them for better performance though. Over the years the chain will stretch and the timing will be off. Being a Vortec engine the PCM can compensate i beleive up to 29deg to keep in time.

    Another new guy from NY

I went to Albany County Jail for Corrections Academy about 3 yrs ago. Albany County used to board inmates with Warren County too, so between moving inmates around and having to take inmates to Albany Med i have spent a little time down there. I must say the place sucks, to damn populated for me.

    Are there any issues with a 2004 6.0L gas in a 2500HD?

Most 6.0's had problems with empty gas tanks.

    Pushin Snow(Indiana)

Why not start your own accounts? I am sure you would make more money in the end, if you were plowing for someone else then they obviously are taking a cut. I have only plowed for myself with the exception of helping a friend out when his truck went down. I did all of his drives and we split the...

    What tires should I get

I am currently running the Hankook Dynopro MT's on my D-Max, awesome traction but man do you pay for it with crappy life expectancy. Mine have 18k on them, rotated every 6k and they are shot. I mean shot as in bald, illegal, hydroplane on a damp road shot. I would try to run them just in the...

    What tires should I get

A fella i wheel with ran those in 36" flavor in the Ultimate Challenge 2 years ago. I rode in his rig down at Roushes Creek in PA last fall after my truck broke. Those tires grip very well, excellent traction in rocks and they clean well. They also have soft sidewalls for great ride and good...

Snow season is coming, are you ready?

 Imagine waking up in the morning and having 6" of sand over everything. Some days you get rain afterwards too.

Snow season is coming, are you ready?

For me it depends on the driveway. $30 minimum for any size driveway, going rate is $1 per minute so size of driveway, room for snow is a factor, position of home/garage/outbuildings, location of well/stone walls/flower beds and how steep driveway is all play a factor. Double for sanding. I just...

    What tires should I get

Tire make and size depends on vehicle application. I rock crawl with my full size truck, i used to run BFG's, Ground Hawgs and Mickey Thompson Baja Claws 37"X13.5"X15". The Mickeys sucked for a full size rig as they didnt have enough flotation/contact patch and would not clean themselves when...

    1939 farmall h

IMO that is a good deal. I just missed out on a 52 farmall cub with sickle bar, tractor had new tires, batt and tune-up. Was used every year and stored inside. Still had original lights and stickers. Sold for $2k.

Snow season is coming, are you ready?

Nope, not ready yet. The last time i tried to hook up to the blade nothing would worked. The headlights flashed from truck to blade and back several times but now it wont do anything. I am going to hook up to my neighbors blade to see if the truck is the problem or if it is the blade. All...
