meyers power angle and "lifted" trucks

The frames must be level with the plow down and the front suspension unloaded. Extra wear on the outer ends of the cutting edge is normal as the ends have more pressure on them when angled than when the blade is straight. If you are speaking of the ends of the blade only being 6" or so off the...

    Gell Or? Help

I had -27 here this morning, truck fired right up. Let it idle for about an hour then went to go look at a job. Had 0 issues with it, i also run no additive but my fuel is cut 50% with kero.

meyers power angle and "lifted" trucks

I cant say i have seen that problem but lowering the frame structure so it is level "horizontal" would cure that.

    Any one use this?

Hmmm, for an business as large as yours it may be worth it. I wouldnt want to spend the extra money on equipment for a product that most customers may not want, at least around here anyway. Most of them complain about having to pay for sand no less salt. I guess the sale of this product will...

    anyone have a rhino?

Yup, they do but they are very low and tucked in quite a bit. I was thinking it would be a nice option for someone who had a taller trailer tongue.

    anyone have a rhino?

They look great IMO, a brush guard is a great idea too. How much weight does that add as compared to stock? Maybe a 2" reciever for the rear bumper?

    Sea Foam

When i worked for GM and Chrysler i used to let it suck the whole can in, let it sit over night, pull the spark plugs and spin the engine over with carboard over the top of it, install the plugs and drive the hell out of it. Man what a fog it would pour out :D . I used to put a can in the gas...

    Sander

Here is a couple pics of it on the truck and loaded. It squats the truck pretty good but what a difference when plowing.

    Sander

I took pics of it today but i havent gotten them on the puter yet. I took the truck to a place i used to work at to get it weighed loaded but apparently the scale is inop right now, it said my truck weighed 3,140lbs:nonod:. The sander is very easy to remove, all i have to do is unplug the...

    Sander

I finally got my in-bed sander from a friend of mine. His new 8' Salty Dogg came in yesterday so we pulled his old "2.5yrs" 6' Salty Dogg off his truck and set on mine. He paid $4k for his new sander and sold me his for $2k which i thought was a great deal for a stainless unit that he only used...

    couple questions

I have been looking for the ad for the 2500HD for $3k and apparently it sold. If i remember correctly it was an 02 2500HD, RCLB, 4X4, 6.0, auto in white with either 280k or 320k miles. The photo showed a clean truck and all highway miles. If my finances had been in order i would have bought it...

    2000 C3500 C&C poor fuel economy: suggestions?

Yank that 5.7 out and dump in a Cummins, that 5.7 is too small for alot of weight and towing IMO.

    couple questions

Here is a link to the Want Ad, you will have to scroll down to the 06's, the CCSB i mentioned for $14.9k is the "new ad". Apparently the owner pulled the photo and raised his price to $15.9k but it is the same truck. The other is two vehicles below it, ECLB for $17.7k in Vermont...

    Flatbed tow truck for hire

Ah, just tell him to drive around with a 50lb box of roofing nails and toss them out in the street where he normally doesnt drive ):h. That will keep him busy.

    Oil Changes

    Cavalier Help!

Check all the connections on the battery, the enginge block and if it has the boost post connector. I would also test the battery itself and test the alternator for correct output.

    MAF Sensor Bad or Edge?

I would suspect the Edge to be the problem too, unplug it and see how it runs/smokes.
