We're off to the lake...way up in northern Mn lake country where the mosquitoes have landing lights...:eek: It's been in our family for 5 generations...very rustic. Used to be a hunting shack way back, now a near bare lot. A fire pit, electricity, and an outhouse on a small fishing lake, miles...

...there's nothing that matches the experience of a bear sniffing the tent for food...and your dog is snoring and wife is on the rag...:eek: That was the last time in a tent for us... Now air conditioning, surround sound, etc. is the way to go. These bones don't like sleeping on the ground...

We tented until our kids were 8-10 years old. After we had bear sniffing around our tent at night my wife figured that was enough of that and insisted we get something more substantial. Now we have air conditioning...

What a nice car! I have fond memories of my old Impala...damn thing would pin you to the door around a clover leaf. Handled like a slot car and way comfy on the highway. They sure make a sharp car...:thumbsup:

Something else I've been trying is a fresh install of Chrome...it is much fast than FF is right now. Maybe FF is starting to get bloated..one look at the update page is telling me there's too much going on. It all has a cost, eh?

I sure wouldn't be laying my money down without knowing the skinny on this width issue. I wonder why so many are already over the national limits? That would have to cut into sales bigtime.

I found this: "There are 15 states that allow only 8'0" trailer width, but federal rules dictate that 102". or 8'6" is the national size limit, so interstate highways in all states are 8'6". This means that some roads in some states have 8' limits. You can buy the "Motor Carrier's Road...

I always thought 8' was the max...now you have me curious... Maybe a special permit or something to run wider than 8'?

2 1/2 Men (Charlie has the best part on TV), House, Holmes on Homes (exposes shoddy workmanship on homes).

All those I've known say a 5th wheel tows much better and backs easier. Clearance CAN be an issue...some have damaged their trucks forgetting to adjust the slide back...also backing around or up a hill or drive can get dicey. I happen to need the back of my truck for tools...hence the topper...

...you know...my truck might benefit from that too...how much for that setup?

So far it's been lightening fast for me. It only takes a minute and is way better. It may just be the fix we've been looking for.

I may have found something...trying it right now and it feels way better on first blush... I changed my shortcut target to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1 Your location may not be exactly the same so right click the shortcut and add /prefetch:1 to the end. Then...

The way it caches the pages is killing me, it doesn't remember and feels like it loads everything each time...I'm thinking of trying another browser.
