    Fuel lines schematic?

...a smile :mad2: Sharing my learning’s... The SAE 30R7 rated hose is good for diesel service but not recommended for BIO Diesel The SAE 30R9 is rated for BIO Diesel service and is my preferred choice. Pricing / purchasing the SAE 30R9 fuel hose was an education to say the least...

    Fuel lines schematic?

No Leroy it does not. This is the only fuel rated hose I could get form them rated SAE 30R7. I paid $40 for 10 feet friggin BS! I just found a 25 foot roll on line of SAE 30R9 bio rated hose for $23.00 made by EP Cleveland Inc. go figure.

SAE hose ratings & Viton hose cost ratings & useage???

...two basic types of fuel hose: Fuel and oil hoses that meet the SAE 30R7 standard, and fuel injection hose that meets the requirements of SAE 30R9. Standard fuel and oil (SAE 30R7) hose is rated for low-pressure applications at 50 psi working pressure up to 3/8" size, and 35 psi for...

SAE30R6 should work, regualar fuel line. But I think 30R9 is like viton, withstand full bio and other harsher stuff. I have 30R7 is what local NAPA had.

Is SAE30R6KX fuel line safe to use on the 6.5?

...This would be a result of the hose softening over a period of time (probably > 1 year). For the ultimate in biodiesel compatibility, the 30R9 spec is the way to go. In addition, the rubber lines (from steel line to Fuel Manager and Fuel Manager to pump) aren't that hard to change, even...

Is SAE30R6KX fuel line safe to use on the 6.5?

Is SAE30R6KX fuel line safe to use on the 6.5?

This is absolutely CORRECT!!!! If you wish to run any biodiesel blends greater than B20, you must have the 30R9 fuel spec hose. The 30R9 fuel hose has a fluoroelastomer liner. B20 Biodiesel will cause some softening and moderate swell of the 30R6 material, but it should continue to function...

    Ethanol vs Methanol Injection

You should be using 30R9 "fuel injection" rated hose in either case, so I have no greater concern about one over the other. You would probably also want to include a bit of upper cylinder lubricant (designed for use in methanol) in either one. *bird* Regards,
