Have you contacted PPE customer service, they may have run into this problem before.

Have you tried the tuner on another truck to make sure its not the tuner itself?

Mine has been on level 5 ever since i put it on the truck. The only time it has come off level 5 was when towing. the key to prolonging transmission life is not changing power levels all the time, pick one and leave it there. The Allison adapts to the power changes and adjusts the shift...

You have to have a tech 2 and access to GM Global Connect to get to SPS programing. I'm not sure if it would prevent you from loading the tuner or not, but it will keep it from starting.

Stay away from using a conventional battery charger when programming the truck. The voltage fluctuations caused by a normal battery charger can damage the modules during programming. It also causes interference in the communitcation lines. Here at the shop we have a special battery maintainer...

I would but we use a system from Snap-On and i think its all done with updates over the iternet and crap. So no CD's to copy:mad:, I'll keep looking though and see what i can come up with.

I haven't found anything that lists the part numbers, i can find some exploded views of the engine but thats about it.
