The K47 Air box is the best Factory air box out there, round filter. You can get them out of the used parts yards or on line.

I have run mine at 1300 for extended periods without any ill effects, and as high as 1500 for a few minutes, no problems so far. :-) As far as longevity, have 60000 on mine without any issues. There are others out there with much more one over 100,0000. So not an issue with longevity.
