Oh no, not addicted. I would have cleaned all of this stuff up anyway, it was just a lot nicer having the sandblaster to do it with. I'm very ready for this part of the project to be over.....cleaning and painting sucks.

I assume you're referring to the steering gearbox? I debated about how I wanted to tackle that. I ultimately decided to sandblast it, but be careful to not direct the blast directly at the input or output shafts. I'm also going to replace the seals, which should further mitigate any...

I thought about the Hummer mounts, but for the money it seems smart to just go all the way with the Atomic Fab ones. I have plans for putting some more herspers into it, so I want to have the added insurance.

I don't know about the GMT800 motor mounts, but I know the GMT900 mounts, at least the ones on my Escalade are a problem, even on stock trucks. A lot of people swear by the Atomic Fab mounts as a permanent solution. That's what I'm planning to do FWIW.
