Granted, my Denali has 3.42 gears, lol. That definitely helps a lot. I'd guess most of your trucks have 4.10s? Those extra RPM going down the road really suck fuel.

LOL. For the record, my 6.2L/6L80E 2009 Yukon Denali gets 13 MPG city on regular, and about 18 highway on premium. Road-trip to Iowa tomorrow should confirm that lol.

I mean, depends on your perspective, but merging into traffic can get hairy sometimes. Could definitely be gearing... Also, the Kodiak cabs didn't really change much with the change to GMT800. The seats, etc are not like the GMT800 pickups. I just wish ours were cloth instead of vinyl, I get...

I'd highly recommend the Duramax. Our C4500 is underpowered enough with a 300/520 Duramax, I couldn't imagine with a 6.5...

I was going to say, delete DPF and DEF and it'll pick up 4 MPG just doing that...

FWIW, I replaced mine with a new-in-box AC Delco from Amazon and I haven't heard any complaints that it's not working anymore. With a lift and tires, that's a whole different scenario, though.

You got 130k out of the factory DRL's?! Which spaghetti monster do you pray to? Christ, I think I started replacing ours at 13k... And one of the sockets on ours is burned out too. I need to do what David did and wire it up so it's a blinker instead of the DRL...
