I second both of you. The stock ecm will de fuel and you need to know what your timing is. You also want to see what your fuel rate is at idle. a weak pump will not deliver enough fuel at WOT

I bought a pack of sheet shims from MSC. It comes with 4x8 sheets of many thicknesses. I use a punch from a tarp repair kit at Wal-Mart. Been doing it that way for years.
