Lol unless the gauge is wrong, that's the egt reading. Its plumbed into the turbo downpipe. Not exactly the spot I would have chose but oh well.

That problem was caused by a few things. The flex plate had a shim spacing it away from the crankshaft, & the starter had a couple shims spacing it away from the block. On top of that, the starter was also missing the forward bracket which keeps the starter from rotating/twisting. These things...
