Is it the temp sensor in the drivers side head? I can’t go look at my truck right now but I want to say that the crank sensor harness is in the same wire loom as the temp sensor that runs to the driver said head.

The crank bolt is torqued to 200 ft lbs. or somewhere close to that. It was all my little 160 lbs as& could do to break it free and torque it back down. I was pulling my whole body off the ground to torque it back down.

Nice write up. In the past there has been several post asking about how to date these engines so this should help out a lot.

Put a clear hose on the IP return. It’s about 6” long. That lets you know if air is getting in the fuel system. When the engines running if you have 1 little bubble sitting there then you are ok. if there are several bubbles then there is a leak somewhere in the fuel system.

Make sure to use a air dryer if you use a paint gun and your air compressor to paint the truck.
