I have to say, my experience is with Duramax. I found that it used oil with Rotella and that ended when I went to Delvac

Delvac synthetic 5w40 is what I would recommend. Anything with the name Fram on it keeps me at a distance. IDK about their oils but the filters are known garbage.

Seems expensive. My FASS 100 GPH was about $650 new. It's considered a step up from Air Dog. I thought Fords with the CP4 already had a lift pump setup.

First 2 years wife and I were married (41 years this week), we were flat broke. I took in brake jobs about 3 weekends each month. 2-4 per weekend. I would have been lost without those SnapOn spring tools. I have spring pliers too but always found them worthless.

Don't forget brake tools for the drum brakes. I'll post a picture here in a bit.

Typically the master cylinder comes with a bleeding kit and instructions.

Exactly what I've always done for awhile.

Seems to me both problems are usually from a front caliper piston hanging up.

I just stick with AC Delco for my Duramax, and JD for the tractors. If they aren't any good, I don't see a decent alternative.
