FWIW, after the P400 install, my slushbox ran commando until I did the manual conversion. Girdle on the new engine was incompatible with the cover and I was too lazy to grind the cover to fit. Might have gone the extra effort if the Burb saw any notable offroad, but it was mostly a highway Queen.
