Install a turbo gauge meter, tap into the intake top, or use the bolt from Burning Oil. You could also connect the GM-Tech or other program to read the boost.

The PMD usually give you some unexplained stops, and then dies. Thats what mine did some years ago. It started as poor trottle respond a couple of times, and didnt start after been stopped after that.

Hi Is your turbo working properly, i guess black smoke is from lot of fuel, and low boost.

Easy fix to test fuel shutoff sol.., worth a try.

Isnt it possible to remove the fuel shutoff solenoid, and find a threaded endcap to mount in the hole ?
