Rot scares me. I think I would try to find one in a rust free state with a bad motor, or try to buy it cheap and part it out yourself. Just because a truck is not worth fixing does not make it worthless.

Our last Delco Blem (thats right, a blem!) gave up the ghost last year. We had about 5 or 6 of them, and they were all dated from 01-02. They spent all their life on farm equipment, and most of the time were in Idaho, so the cool weather helped.

So is it highly recommended to have a shop do the wheel swap? I am mostly concerned about balance. I would love a ATT, but to be honest I have a ATT appetite on a Gm-1 core budget... :) It takes alot of $ to maintain a fleet, let alone upgrade it.
