Torque for singles on your 98 C3500 is 120 for singles and 140 for duals.

Install a manual oil pressure gauge instead of the electronic one. That way you can tell if you have a bad OPS.

You probably do want to grab a set of axle seals while you have the shaft out.

I'm not Jrsavoie but I'm happy with mine. Get the strap type exhaust clamps so you won't have to cut the pipes if you need to remove them at some time.

Pillow if you have good glows you shouldn't have needed to plug in this winter. I'm only about an hour south of you and had no problems. Coldest I started in was about 3F.
