    Scanned, now what?

57 is causing the rest.. Look *carefully* for frayed insulation or a problem at one of the big connectors on the PCM.

Who to believe? ISSPRO or GMTDScantech?

Believe GMTDScan. Stefan did a lot of work with me when the beta came out to get the readings accurate. I put on a 0-60 PSIG calibrated 4" gauge in place of my ISSPRO marine 0-30. ISSPRO's accuracy is lacking IMO. I have adjusted my ISSPRO to make it more accurate, the drawback is I can't see...

    Cold air inlet mod

Nice Chris! I went with a piece of punch-steel with little O's in it that are close together from Home Depot and mounted the lightbulb behind it to open the whole thing up. Then at Tim's urging I put in a plastic divertor in case water gets in. (Cuz we get so much in the high desert) :smilielol5:

Code 44 and 45 OBD1 Tahoe is weirding out

You can put a resistor where the were.. let me dig around to find what resistance value I used before the Heath prom got installed. I got out a potentiometer and dialed around until the CEL went out. :ihih:

Code 44 and 45 OBD1 Tahoe is weirding out

I saw you replaced the harness. I can tell ya that sounds like a broken wire in the EGR solenoid harness just like I had. It drove me (more) nuts. Does it stumble like a miss when this happens? If you look at the plans, the solenoids are right on the +voltage line to the PCM so anything weird...

    4" exhaust

I noticed a huge improvement when I installed my Heartthrob 4" exhaust in power and EGT, but having that see-through cat helped tons too.. :sifone: My downpipe was so crushed, I couldn't get a coat hanger through it either. I didn't immediately notice any fuel economy improvement though because...

    1999 blocks were better...yes...no?

If I remember correctly, late 1999/early 2000 was when the Navistar blocks started winding up in our trucks. Most of our fleet of our 1999 6.5s here at the county are Navs.
