That is some scary stuff! Listen to the Doc, the Doc is wise...
I checked mine after a short phone conversation with him about my steering being sloppy and found it was the tie rod ends.
Well, I DIDN'T start with 8...
Started with 1, got 1 more, then got the "last one", then came the mix *I* had to have (chi/corgi), then came the mortgage crisis and full shelters. They total 42 pounds and ride in my truck in the puppy car carriers.
Excellent! I was standing AT the counter at the Summit Racing outlet here in Sparks, Nevada and was told what I relayed to you all. I think I will go back over with the part numbers :nono:
Energy USED to, but I was searching for them myself (Turbo side on mine is hogged out). I have heard that they quit making them because of they imparted too much engine vibration to the cab.
Did mine at 127K since I was doing the water pump anyway, and I was very happy with the results.
Damn I appeared to have dropped a whole paragraph on save....
It got me a much improved idle, more ass-o-meter power or snappier power and a bit more mileage.
I am sure you will pass, my kitty is hollow as well and all they do is an opacity test under load on a dyno at 40 Mph. My EGR has a flow problem just like yours :smile5:
I pass every year with less than .1 opacity with the same mods you have. No worries
