You are only getting 5-6 lbs boost going up a hill?? I had that problem and I called Bill Heath who told me to set for 13 or so PSI, and it really helped, I don't peg the EGT's anymore.

I have given people all my get home spares since the Heath one just RUNS.

I saw this as Tim answered his cell phone. They have the valve covers off and they are going to look at the bottom end of the engine since there is a ton of sludge. I have had several S-10's.. 2.2, diesel, 2.8, and the 3.1. They all crack. Drill the ends of the crack with a 1/8 inch drill bit to stop the cracking, then fill it with FS2.. or JB weld, but you will replace the JB every few months.
