    6.5-T lower coolant hose !

one thing I REALLY admire is the effort to post pics-thumbs up on this one:thumbsup: no problems yet, but when I replaced mine, it did look a bit odd on this type setup.

    6.5 Power Loss

keep in mind that factory program says that high boost along with high IAT, causes the ecm to defuel the engine to keep it from melting. if you go with a heath turbomaster or not, you will definitely benefit---you WILL, I repeat, WILL need a pyrometer to monitor egt's, or the money bet will be...

4l80e time for a new one

good, one thing that has made a big difference is a secondary cooler. I put a 28k lb gvwr cooler in front, then moved factory cooler under bed (TDoc has a thermostat fan on his) in series. I would recommend a fan. really helps keep fluid cool, thereby extending tranny life. according to...

4l80e time for a new one

I know you can get a gm rebuild with all factory upgrades for about 2300 + core(though scarce). 50k mile warranty, and shiny. my opinion is to just keep it cool-heat kills any of em--------as ak's summers go

    New 5th wheel hitch

I have one of the older plastic ribbed bed inserts with no trouble. with chrome bed rails, I have 4" above them with no hits yet. if your concerned, the hitch pivots sided to side 7 degrees, you could raise the hitch or possibly lower the kingpin- mine does not tow level, but its pretty smooth.

    chip for sale

interesting find. HMMM, so far 88 dollars, no gaurantee, and I personally have had hypertech products :soapboxand have been completely disappointed in their performance. always on look out for a cheap deal, but have heard too much about other chips causing high egt's and toasting engines, my...

    Tuning and Programming the 6.5

since I'm not changing tire sizes anymore, I just removed and resoldered jumpers on the board, using that chart I got within 1 mph of on the money, and it cost me nothing.:D-another example of forums saving me thousands so far.

    GMTDScan questions

    6.5-T RPM's

thats headed toward my thought---have you looked at torque curve? I am sure you know that gassers and diesels curve differently. Higher rpm may not achieve what your looking for, though I don't know what your looking for, except for comment about "stump puller". good luck.:smile5:

    Poisen Ivy

exactly, its an oil, old farmers used turpentine, linseed oil or gas to get oils out of skin. I use technu and a scrub pad, it leaves skin red, but better than 4 weeks of hell.
