I always changed my oil every Nov/December in my 6.5. I would run about 9k miles a year. I ran 0-40 full synthetic. In my "new" to me LLY, I'm thinking of doing the same. As for an UOA, never.

Update: The owner still has the '05 LLY. He told me that he got the balance rates checked at a GM dealer and 1 inj. needs to be changed. He says the cost will be around $500. We are close to making a deal I think. Question is, should I be worried that more injectors will need to be...

A friend of mine has a 1994 Burb and whenever he starts the truck and turns on the air cond. the flapper will flap for a minute or two. He turns the key off and it does the same thing. Make sense? The noise is coming from the plastic shroud beside the fan. I told him I'd throw the question...

Mine are OK at best. The issue I have is that the rear wheels will squeel like a pig and lock up when it's humid out. I've adjusted them but that's not the answer either.

Here's a pic of my 30' camper I owned for 8 years. I sold it to insurance 2 weeks ago due to hail damage. It's old and heavy but my 6.5 pulled it like a team of well trained clydesdale's.

Search Turbo Master, build or buy one, install a boost guage and your turbo issues will most likly be over. Simple and very affective.
