Well thank you for the input! as of right now my pretty respectable 6.5 is no match for my old near stock cummins :( but that could change alot after fixing my injector problem. does anyone have a video of there ATT turboed 6.5? i would like to see and hear one most certainly before i bought it.
yeah i hear ya there. well i like to take off fast every now and then but not often. i will be using this as a DD here shortly and also for long trips towing my 97 to the dunes. i would like to have the off the line power and speed. i would also like to be able to hear that turbo scream, thats...
mine already runs 18 psi mashed to the floor. im still unsure of what turbo it is. and the truck has basically all of the bolt on parts plus ecm chip ect ect ect. i was told 18 psi is not a safe number off a gmx turbo? so that concerned me. it spools pretty fast and stays at 18 till i let out of...
yes i hear alot about this ATT turbo. but i have yet to figure out why its special to this engine. i will look for the threads, but if you have direct links that would be totally sweet!
I have talked to many of you already and everyone has been helpful. rather than clutter up everyone elses turbo post i figured i would start my own! ok so i want a little more boost in my 6.5 ( after i fix my injector problem ) i dont hot rod it all the time but would like to occasionally. what...
hmm thats kind of what i figured. do you think the repair shop will be able to tell me what happened to the injector so that i can prevent it in the future?
here is a video of what my truck does EXACTLY. mine doesnt do this all the time but sometimes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orbbourGCOQ&feature=related
alright good to know. i really appreciate all this help you guys! im thinking with all my symptoms it has to be a faulty injector. now in the event of it being a bad injector would it be safe to replace it with one stock injector? or do these marine injectors make enough difference that it would...
hahaha already made one NVW 10 mins on a CNC mill ;) good and flat too! ok so if i run a clear tube off the IP is it safe to keep that way? or will the fuel eat through it. and what do i do if there are bubles?

this is the current location of my PMD W/O the heatsink. all i see on the heatsink is a ground, i dont know what that is for or why i would need it? but to make what i see in the picture doesnt seem hard.
for the harness my plans are as simple as cutting it in half, using the same size wire, soldering the wires together, and using glue filled heat shrink ( borrowed from GM ) lol
so are you saying that i still need to buy a heat sink, or that it is as simple as a block with fins? just out of curiosity, why the bumper and not in the cab? i understand that cool air is a natural thing in the bumper, but so is water. i can make air happen in the cab. just looking for ideas...
well my PMD and resistor is only 595 miles old guys lol. i just dont see a reason to pay for all this new stuff. all i want to do is move it. and if a heat sink is just a block with fins ill make my own. if moving it further away only requires that i extend the wire harness that came with the...
well i do work in a machine shop, would there be an issue if i just made one? isnt it just a piece of aluminum with some fins on it to transfer the heat? also, to extend the four wires on my harness is not a big deal for me. i am great a wiring and electrical. from looking at everything i dont...
