My D-Tech from Edam worked fine, not that I'm discounting what's been said, just saying that he doesn't sell 100% crap. I got a 100% NEW D-tech, which is what I wanted.
You usually splice into the heater core supply for those types of heaters, that way it ensures positive pressure.

It will not limp you, it will code. That was my experience from my 98 "s"... Never defueled until I over boosted, and I had my MAF and EGR all sorts of messed up.
I'm a diesel guy right down to the core, so I'd vote to put a oil burner under the hood. I'm looking at getting an old International D-30 or KB-6 or -7 and dropping an International DT360 (or DT466 if it fits!!!) in there with a manual tranny and making one sweet truck.
isn't there some jerk with a mech. inj. 6.5 in a C10 or something like that making 300 hp to the wheels with an HX or HY holset? Chevydieselguy or something like that?
