I just ordered 100 sq ft of Fatmat and should be putting it in next week. I plan on doing the rear wall with a single layer and a layer on the plastic piece that goes up just the back window. I also plan on doing the doors, as the back one has no sound deadening at all. I am into car audio...
Hope and pray everything is ok with your wife, Pepp. I have a doctor appt at 3:30 and I'm hoping I can make it that long. I have had a kidney stone for a few months now I haven't been able to pass and the past few days it has been killing me. I hope it is small enough to pass, I can't afford...
If your putting subs in this, I would suggest a long console type box with subs downfiring and a lexan window on the top. Something like 4 12's should do the trick.
I use my truck for work hauling loads of carpet mostly. I gross right at 18,000lbs max (truck, trailer and load) at times and the truck does awesome. I get 11 mpg at 70-75 whether I'm loaded on unloaded pulling my 16ft Horton Hauler bumper pull enclosed trailer. I am planning on getting a 45...
I haven't seen an enclosed trailer with dual tandems. I just realized I never said enclosed trailer in the original post, doh. :o I would like to get a triple 7k axle trailer for a even more cargo capacity. The only thing about that is I would have to get a CDL. A lot hinges on my lawsuit...
I have always thought a gooseneck was more stable towing than a bumper pull. I will be using my dually and it is more stable in winds with my 16ft tralier behind it than my Tahoe is with no trailer. I was gonna go with 2 7k axles on the gooseneck. Right now with 1000lbs tongue weight, I figure...
Friday, I picked up a 4000 lb roller in North Alabama and took it all the way to Southeast of Tifton, Ga. I used my dad's 18 ft trailer with 2 5200 lb axles. I got 14.5 mpg for the whole trip and that included stop and start traffic. The truck did awesome for a bone stock truck. I do plan on...
This must have been what that jackass in a Civic had on I-85 going to NC. I was 1/2 mile ahead of him and the lights were still blinding me in my mirrors.
Yeah it'll probably be better just to use my Dad's JD 955 with grader blade when I need it. If work ever picks up, I plan on paving my driveway. It's about 1/4 mile long total.
I don't think it runs until you crank the truck. The first start-up it will limit you to 55 mph. if you cut the truck off it will cut you down to 4 mph when you restart it. It is made of mostly water, so it could expand enough to crack things, I would guess. I see a lot of deletes in the...
Does it use cell signal to do this, or other form of communication protocol like RF? I want to do this for me wife as she wants remote start and needs a new cell phone also.
