Everyone complains about mpg in the winter and my PPE on lvl2 gives me the best mpg. I started messing around with the custom changes. I turned off the defuel and took the fuel out of all the tunes. I left the rpm increase in and the timing in. Level 2 felt a lot different than the normal 2...
How long does that crap stay in the motor and contaminate new oil? A few oil changes? I hope it doesn't at all. I changed the oil with schaeffers and amsoil. Didn't have enough of either oil so combined the 2 and left the filter on. Only had 140 miles on the oil and filter. That was an...
Well...looks like I will be getting some motor flush and getting rid of the duralube I put in and going with good oil.. Thanks. No more bs additives for the dmax or yukon!
I generally run zmax, lucas stabilizer, and duralube in mine. I'm not sure if its a good idea to run duralube from what I have been reading. Hopefully someone on here with some expertise will chime in. I run either Rotella syn 5w-40 or Schaeffers 7000 series semi syn 15w-40 Schaeffers full...
Thats what I expected to happen. Clean air filter, new fuel filter, running great. Tranny is holding fine too. Christmas, tools, lift,tires/wheels, huge bumper, adds for more than I thought. Tundra was a 4 door too.
I ran a 09 or 2010 Tundra last night. He was stock from what I could tell. Still had temps in the window. I was on the 160 tune and we were dead even from 70 till he topped out, then I could pull away. He might have gotten a fender on me actually. From 20-80mph I got him by about a 1.5 lengths...
I personally never tow above lvl1.....ever. Stock trannys dont do to well tuned pulling loads, especially lifted with big tires.
Better back off the power or you will be limping it on the daily.
