I know it's the wrong vehicle but I recently had the injectors cleaned on my wife's CTS and it corrected a rough start condition that existed from delivery. My impression is that one or more injectors weren't popping properly from day one.
My single issue was grinding the exhaust flange to provide a little relief. Otherwise, it went in easy. I can't describe how enthused I am to know that my lines are finally reliable and, in my case, not likely to fail. I wish I'd taken a picture of the factory line I'd installed not that long...
A bit of a bump here.
I finally got around to installing my lines I'd purchased months ago. Other than a bit of grinding on the exhaust flange, there were no surprises...on the install.
The replacement factory lines that came out were a bit of a surprise. One of the lines was off angle to...

That's kinda where I'm at. That snorkel was clearly restrictive. I believe there's compression on the fender and a boundary layer that would provide a small level of pressurization. I believe me fender vent is just allowing a cool air supply and relatively free of water intake. I wasn't out...
Ha! Small world.
Guess what I pissed away on my front end alone?
I should point out it's wildly improved the handling/braking plus - unlike the rest of the free spirit, black t-shirt/leathered uniform bunch - I know of no other person trying to customize a HD so no one can tell.
Your secret...
DD,
It's not going to be sharp and won't project past the bumper. I'd think what's behind the scoop would present a greater danger to anyone I'd hit than the scoop. Besides, I live in Oklahoma...there's like five people between my house and any destination of the truck.
SD,
The thread is...
I read this thread while Fox News presented a segment on two sisters that died when the PT Cruiser they had rented caught on fire underway resulting in a collision and death. The rental company had previously rented the vehicle after they'd received a recall notification.
I think it's...
Since it's been years since my truck could be called attractive, I'm looking to pull a grill off a dead truck, cut the crossmember in front of the radiator out and build a brow - much like that on a baseball cap - extending 6-8" ahead of the front end to capture air that might otherwise roll up...
I have a cleaned radiator and no cat. I can chip it and upgrade the fan but where it's going to get ugly is the rear end is 3.42. I have 5 - 6 stop signs between my house and my ranch with little or no traffic. The trailer has electric brakes.
To date, my truck hasn't had to work too hard.
I'm buying a skid steer that weighs 6000 pounds not including the trailer. I figure 8500 pounds with the trailer.
I get that much of the rating on a truck towing capacity it in the handling/braking. Can I pull this with my K1500 and what...
Thanks but really, I'll be fine tomorrow regardless of whether I'm censored here or upset...whatever.
My problem is that someone that is unfamiliar with Heath and people like Steaksauce that log on here to search somewhere down the road might get an inappropriate perception of Heath diesel...
