It dorps down a bit but not under 4PSI. That should still be enough to get it to a higher RPM. Is there a certain way to time the IP or do you just put the pin in the sprocket and line it up with the mark on the block.
The engine light isnt on. Is it possible to move the sprocket a tooth or so when the pump is out. We had it running for a while I'm sure most of the air would have been out of there by then. It is a 93 so could you hook a scanner up to check the timing of the pump.
My friend has a 1993 k3500 6.5l turbo diesel. This weekend me and him put brand new injectors in it a new injection pump, Lift pump, and OPS sensor.
When you go to start the truck it seems to start OK but the truck has no
power.
hardly any at all. The liftpump puts out 6PSI at Idle. Also...
What does PB blast mean. Do you know how many lines are going into the tank? Also is the gas gauge wire a big proble. First time taking a tank of for me so i'm alittle nervous
Check your lift pump. If its shot it might let fuel drain backwards into the tank if it sits for a while. When my lift pump went last time it would be hard to start and would hiccup until system was bled again.
That pretty cool. never saw that before. I am still thinking of were to put it. It will be in the bumper or even around the battery area. Like your idea to
Thats pretty dam good. Some people can mount them on the intake and have no problem while others say it goes bad sooner there. I just find that interesting but my next step will be to try it in the bumper.
I 100% agree with you. Electrical shit does happen and that is probbly what happened. What kind of PMD did they mount up on there trucks. I have had the best luck with DTECH PMDs so far. I only burnt out one because I had it in the cab and my lift pump quit on me.
