Hey yall, So I have the 4.3 262 in my 97 GMC c1500. I have a CAI and a glasspack at the moment. Next summer I plan on getting a flowmaster super 40, hypertech programmer, and maybe headers (not sure on that one). After these what would be the most cost effective upgrade? Thanks TD94

That would be if I got just the differential though there, if I find an axle at one of the local scrap yards, Ill give it a shot myself :)

Cool, thanks for the info. I would actually prefer to modify the current differential since I dont have the equipment to remove the axle (not to mention my dad would not be terribly happy). Would be nice to have in the snow here though :) I would prefer a limited slip to a locker though. I have...

Hey yall, What difference is there between the Flowmaster 40 series and the Super 40 series? From what I have picked up it seems there is little difference other than the super 40 has less interior resonance? Thanks TD94
