its already been done, peninsular has been playing with them for years... and your crack about innovators is the reason that you dont post anymore over on oilburners, right?:rof:
Welcome to the club, wyattearp, have a look here to contribute to the dyno fund.http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?33899-Dyno-Fund&p=392325&viewfull=1#post392325
We all have been contributing $10-20 each..... we all got to step back here and get a grip. This is supposed to be fun first and foremost. We do not want to see anyone leave, or anyone contributing for any reason other than to see as many of our trucks dyno as possible. This concept still has...
how did this turn into your personal testing platform? i would suggest that you go back to the start of this thread and read it fully.... we dynoed with a real hx. and dont care who dynoes or with what, if it is a smart, or a volks, or a duramax, honda civic or what ever... as long as the...
Good morning gentlemen.....WW truck's was discussed many times here over coffee when this fund was first coming into being. We say yea, and are partial to the DB2 pump also, which is not a surprise for us. Warwagon has been posting up alot of road test data and we would like to see another fresh...
yeah we got it all done, had to swap sides with the bracket for the driverside shock, but worked out good.... for the front we used adapters from fred, but since then we scrapped a 3500 with brand new rotors and pads/calipers, so that will get swapped in this summer.... now just need some 3500...
depending on what size housing is on it, it can be used for compounds..... between a 22 and 26 cm2 housing is the "norm" for this.... anything bigger and it will be pretty laggy.... they use a t-6 flange as well.... very easy turbo to clock as it uses a v-band clamp for the exhaust housing...
running the chinese turbo i would run one like on the outlet going to the motor..... is this some kind of joke? i for one am not laughing with you.... but hey have at it...LOL
Good video, have watched it many times (all his videos) frame by frame. He went with a "P pump" finally on the motor and blew it up. He is now running the "P pump" on a Duramax, converted back to direct injection. The timing is sweet, another tried it for a blower build, but has not updated for...
Seems that more and more guys are looking at compound set-ups, we figure it might be a good direction also. Go figure, that only 2-3 years ago we would have been laughed off the sites for contemplating compounds....LOL.
Great #'s from a .310" plunger pump..... What was the charge pressure at when they flow tested it ? Was this one of your pumps with the metering valve modded?
When we do our girdles, we were able to fit any of the three pans with the girdle. Originally, we used the hummer pan in the "Pugg", the pick-up and the dipstick are the same. The positioning of the dipstick in the different pans varies by about 3/4". Possibly your holes for the studs, were not...
well...... the dyno costs 150.00\hr., the reckless driving ticket was 325.00, 5 hrs. there and back, still grinning from ear to ear... priceless.... how does 75.00 bucks sound? actually it is only 55.00 because we will recontribute our 20.00 again....:hihi:.... so, who is going to be next on the...
I just had a whole page of our days actions, late, police, fines, not prepared...LOL.
We did 7 runs, never had a chance to swap turbos, as the first few runs were to try to dial-in as they needed a pulse signal and we run off alternator. We also realized our torque convertor was locking hit and...
here are the results.... first off let us state that we were not prepared with the necessary things to go on the dyno ( need to have a second pick-up for the tach signal, and since we do not have a tach, the results are not entirely accurate) and the mustang dyno is made to plug to OBDII..... we...
