    Peninsular Engines towing turbo?

ashwell made around 225WHP with his combo..... and to slim; you are the only turbo seller in the world that does not give any specs on your turbo..... i find it a surprise that anyone buys it on pure speculation..... and you can say what you want about maximum boost on the 6.5l, but we have been...

    Peninsular Engines towing turbo?

well, if in fact you have measured it, post up the results.... or even better measure it and take a pic to prove it... as for measuring the ATT i have not, although there is tons of info on the TD-07 that it is copied from, and it is stated that the compressor wheel is 54mm, which is the same as...

    Peninsular Engines towing turbo?

its a schwitzer, s300 series turbo, i would imagine that it has around a 56mm-58mm compressor wheel, so infact will push more air than the ATT due to having a bigger compressor wheel...

    More fueling

thanks for that detailed reply....:hihi:.... i often wonder why anybody buys something that offers no info on wheel sizes/housing sizes, blind faith i guess.... when we recieve our loaner ATT i will be sure to dissassemble it, measure the compressor wheel and the turbine wheel, and also take the...

    More fueling

how did you come to the decision that it is an 18cm2 housing? just curious because we have ran housings from 12cm2 to 19cm2 and did not have much trouble spooling any of them with a 1\16 of a turn from tight on a .290" pump(could be that the genuine holsets spool better by design)... if i had to...

    ATT run vs. HX40II

are you talking at me? since i do not have the means to make the dyno graph bigger, i cannot really read it well.... unlike some i prefer to actually be able to clearly interpret the information before i make a judgement....

    ATT run vs. HX40II

if it is possible WW, could you post up both of the dyno runs for the 2 turbos? the sheets at the start of the thread are kind of small and hard to read, i think i seen 176RWHP with the ATT, but i am not sure....thanks

    635 Rebuild cont.

It would be really good info to take all the measurements of wheels and housings, to post up while you have the two tore down:thumbsup:.....it is not information that has been readily available. Maybe even a couple close up pics of the compressor and turbine wheels, that way, someone can...

    IP failure symptoms?

Every time I hear someone talking about no power, hard starting, massive white smoke, I think of cracked pistons. We, as a group of owners, like to bump the timing to the advanced side to get a little more power, but too much is very hard on internals....and results are irreversible...

    6.2/6.5 turbo hybrid questions

What he is trying to explain to you are the easiest adjustments for the fuel delivery of the IP. The leaf spring screw, the housing charge pressure screw, and to compensate for the change in timing curve with increased housing pressure, the adjustment of the timing advance/retard lever on the...

pulling the innards from a 7.3 IDI pump and a 6.2 pump

You guys did some good work with the DB4's, 180cc's being good for 350rwhp.....no one running a GM has done, nor posted results that impressive as of yet. Has NMB2 had his truck on the rollers again with the new calibration of the pump? The information posted with the pin mod and the fill/spill...

Put the screws to the HX40II on the rollers.

heres the video, all with a cell phone so the sound sucked so i dubbed music over it....http://youtu.be/s5mUokYrzDM it was not very smokey, a puff when i floored it, but it cleared up fast, will know what kind of damage all the dyno runs did to the pre cups right away as we are pulling the...

    Super "B" turbo install

subbed, very nice work, looking forward to seeing how this turbo performs for you.... you make me wish we had the proper technology to weld aluminum, when we have small stuff to do we buy the aluminum rods, but it is pretty cost prohibitive.....

Put the screws to the HX40II on the rollers.

last spring we pulled 225 rwhp with NA precups, maxed .310" IP and 16cm2 WH1C intercooled..... i think our biggest limiting factor was 300,000 km engine and leaky IP...not to mention the 4 hr drive heat soaked the engine, when we arrived we got on the dyno immediately......

    635 Rebuild cont.

Actually since it is a 660 block, with 2 piece rear main, it should be able to be done in the truck if the pan can be dropped (don't scratch it though).....best idea is to pull motor or tranny, as there are oil gallery plugs and cam plug on the back also, that should be verified before rear main...

    our product for the "Humbler"...LOL

Has not been run yet, it is actually #3 on priority list....we also have a Tahoe, gas to diesel conversion and a motor to assemble for our 3500 (rattlepuss). Just finished doing the run-ups and verifications on 5 - 6.2L motors we purchased in the fall. Hoping to get into the machine shop in the...

    635 Rebuild cont.

Great to see all you folks working together Paul.....congrats to everyone. Really sad for the rear seal leak....there are gallery plugs and cam plug back there too, might be one of those. Take time to relax, obstacles are always smaller when we step back and look at them.....best to you and...
