I did by pass them with a hose line and the hose line was dry. I'm thinking the same thing my pump went out and if it did could it have damaged the tc as well. I also want to say thanks to every one that has replied.

I plugged the cooler ports with some screw on line caps. Unless the caps leaked witch they didn't look like they did but water find its way I guess. Also the the tranny has fluid and its a bit over topped so there is fluid. Also the fluid on the dip stick doesn't look like it has any water on...

I did disconnect the radiator to clean it.

The cooling up grade was the newer water pump, t stat, and Max fan that was it. I did pull a dtc out and it was 59.

well was thinking about what I did and back tracked my self and noticed that the tranny cooler lines are bone dry. So this means I'm getting no line pressure. What would cause it to have no pressure (pump maybe). Going to finish cleaning grounds tomorrow and see what happens.

I started cleaning grounds. Its getting a little dark now so will have to resume tomorrow. I also noticed when I disconnected the neg cables from the battery they work spark. Doesn't that mean somethings grounding out. I also checked the voltage to the tranny plug pin E had 11.5 volts.

Will the gmtd scan work on my 93 6.5. It says it's only for 94 and 95. If not what will. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I want to build a 6.2 bottom end with the 6.5 top end. I have the short block already and will be picking up some heads from the yard. Is everything pretty much interchangable other than internals. What other steps do I need to take before I drop this thing off at the shop for preping. Thanks

Does any one know if the snail shell (heat shield) on the turbos the same or are the diffrent from each other. I bought a gm8 that does not have one. Thanks
