Brake controller - brake light signal wire?

Excellent, I will give that a shot tomorrow. That coincides with what TD was saying as well. And yes it is for the 96-99 newer dashes. I am doing both trucks at once :) Thanks!

Brake controller - brake light signal wire?

Here is one way: Video of a 93 Burb install check at 7:20 minute mark. http://www.etrailer.com/tv-brake-controller-install-1993-chevy-suburban.aspx ... Seems there would be a better location?

Brake controller - brake light signal wire?

TD from a 2 y/o thread here: Can anyone help me out on finding the correct place or wire to tap into for the brake light switch? All the other wires have been a piece of cake. But I am having a heck of a time finding the correct place to connect to the brake signal. Thanks!!!

Actual, honest, real world MPG from your 6.5

Roughly 15 give or take .5 MPG. Open highway 17 all interstate... Rare. Towing 4000lb trailer mid 13s These numbers are for the '96 Sierra. Suburban I do not have a lot of data on, but around 16-17 normal. 20 all interstate, again rare. Not bad for a big beastie. I always add...

    Injection Pump Failure Again

I think that is a relatively rare item to go bad... I think a clean used one would be okay. If you are doing snow and lawn care perhaps yours sees more moisture/dirt than normal?

    Torx T50 and seat removal

Am I the only person who has a real heck of a time removing the T50 head bolts that hold the rear seats in? 2 - Craftsman 3/8 drive bits broke 1 - Snap On 1/2 drive bit broke Most came out okay, but 2 are being little devils. I applied PB Blaster liberally days ahead of time and still...

    1995 Silverado door panels/speakers

How timely! If the UPS man is on the ball I should have my 6.5 Alpine Type-X Pro drivers to put in today. I removed the inner panel to apply sound deadener, but it is a huge PITA otherwise. Leave it alone if you want normal sound :) FWIW the rear doors are much easier. If you are...

    I love junkyards!

Hey Callie, Lee's I think closed due to the road construction in Gainesville... But no, no haircut there myself. The yard is off 17/66 and Belvoir Road. The junkyard is behind a horse feed shop! If is darn near impossible to see from the street and no signage at all. The only way I found...
