    New LED Reverse Lights

We have gone almost entirely to LED on the fire trucks we build. They still use a halogen floodlight on the sides and back but all the rest are LED, They are brighter and they use about a 1/4 of the power as well. A good thing:thumbsup:

Diamond Plate Running boards mounting Q

Justin, I am a welder and made my own so what I have wont help you much because of how I built them. But if you are stepping on them and they go down, is there any way to push them up first and tighten them down to help you keep them more level.

    fith wheel in a S-10

Like a chain with an s-hook thru the hole in the taligate would do a lot of good. And the block of wood, just there to punch a nice big hole in the tailgate when you hit something a little hard. Seeing the plate blacked out tells me that they dont want people to know who they are just how dumb...

Why is black the best color?

Growing up my dads welding truck was black, learned to not like it real quick to keep it clean and then his next one was red, liked it about as well. Those who have them swear by them, I cant do that honestly so my truck is pewter so I like it.

(08/17/09) Do you support the President's healthcare reform?

My employer pays for my insurance and I KNOW I am in a small minority of those where that happens but we have been told that if the bill passes we likely will be dropped because the taxes they will place on our company will not make it worth the effort. Just get a new carrier and currently I...

    Hauling hay

I have an uncle with a hay business and when I was 30+ yrs younger I went to help one summer. My dad and him built a device to use his semi trailers and this bale loader deal was attached to a pipe on the side and would slide the length of the trailer to load it. I went ONE trip of doing this...

    Cleaning your truck music?

Guess I will be one of the old farts here but when I am in the garage I listen to the oldies of the 50's 60' and 70's because that is what I grew up with and still kick myself in the butt for not going with a friend to Woodstock like we planned to. But that music will rock for ever.

Looks like there is the Original Sunshine and then we could look at those who have been helped under the sunshine moniker and it would really have to start with Nick and then Justine if memory serves me correctly. So we could in theory have 3? I think we should just leave it as it is and...

Glad to read that you felt you caught it in time. That makes it all worth while to know that you were not looking into many more hours and more parts to find for the work. I hope I am able to help out the next time, it was just available this time but will start a rainy day fund just for things...

    MOPAR LOVERS

Just seen this and I bought a new 1973 340 Duster that I had 2 yrs before the oil embargo made me look to some thing less of a gas guzzler and so I traded it off. Man I wish I still had one of the nicest cars I ever had
