I told the wife the same thing when it comes to her grandkids, She then tells me we could take the bunks out and it could become our Computer room on the road.?? No, I want usable floorspace if I am pulling it down the road:thumbsup:
We currently have one at our facilty that we are building a rescue truck going to Korea. The big urea tank in the frame is strange and the grill is huge as said earlier. Dont know what else I can tell you since it will be in Korea in less than 60 days.
Stopped near there for fuel when passing thru and I know the exact spot you are talking about. Being a welder and my first job was with the Hesston Corp in Hesston KS, I love to see all things that are mechanical and built. I am intriqued every time.
As for the Arch near Kearny, my...
You said it all right there, most of the stuff is China CRAP and yep they sale things on the floor cheaper than in the bargain cave. It is also said that the company was at one time a leader in the Sidney community and well respected. Now they have to import people from out of state for at least...
The only thing is that is NOT the original Cabelas, That was the first NEW store when they started to expand. The orignal was downtown Sidney near the underpass under the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and that big old red brick building shook every few minutes as the trains went thru town at...
I dont know what Nebraska and the other states are doing on speed but Colorado is starting to crack down after 5 over. They want your money!! I chuckle at those when they say there is Nothing but sandhills or Nebraska is Flat. I can still say that in the spring you drive accross the Pawnee...
When you take 80 accross Nebraska and as you near the small town of Big Springs there will be a turn to take to Denver called I-76. You can either take it and cut off maybe a half hour or continue west to Cheyenne Wyoming and then take I-25 south to Denver. I grew up in this part of Nebraska...
I know for a fact that if you ran out on the tractor or combine, there were weeds that could be used and some that were not because they caused too much scratches later):h
Keep that roll in the truck, car or farm machinery because it can and will be needed at some point in time. It may be too...
I am in agreement with you. My wife likes it one way I like it the other but when I need the darn stuff, THERE just better be paper on the roll. That is all!!
For the Fire Reescue trucks we build we were able to buy some 09 engines to help us thru this year yet but the urea emmisions junk adds 20K to the price of the chassis we get. I feel that is sticking it to the other guy.We also have only 2 places the tank can be mounted on the trucks and it...
The old saying "Give me 40 acres and I turn this rig around" applies when it is flat and you are able to turn. Hills are a whole nother thing. That is huge!!
Welcome to Truck stop and my first job out of votech school was the Hesston Corp in Hesston. Lived in McPherson for 15 months and I recall people from Parsons
Glad you are having the milestone with the mileage. I still have some miles to go before I get 40K on my 03. I just dont drive it as much since I live a mile from work. But it still is a great truck to have
They only thing I would throw out is the gasses being given off because most of the bigger pipe is galvanized and that crap will kill you with zinc poisoning. I would be really carefull if it were me.
I know that some here have the Nictane filter setup on their truck, I have lost my instruction papers and wonder if anyone has them and can either make a copy and send in the mail or a file thru the internet would work also.
I would like to get mine on but dont have a clue and they never...
