I just added some backup lights for my camper also. I didn't want them on everytime I was in reverse , just for backing the camper up. I mounted a 12vdc automotive relay under the hood and tapped power for the lights going through the relay from the red plastic box on the left side of the motor...
Did autometer change the design ? My 2 guage a-pillar didn't use the spring clips and I didn't think it looked good as an overlay on the stock pillar. I wound up using a single screw at the top,the bottom stays put on its own. I used a hide-a-screw cap, like .20 cents at home depot,painted it...
Another site I frequent had a post from a MBRP rep that said the variable vane turbo needs some of the backpressure generated by the exhaust to operate normally. And went on say that normal driving ( meaning no towing) it wouldn't effect it much but if you do any towing they recommended the 4"...
