Exactly, make sure you get an alignment after cranking. I had keys and cranked my tbars on my 92 a few years ago, I wish i had a pic of that, I had to clear 35x12.50s. So it looked like both tires were riding on their sidewalls:eek:. But after an alignment all was straight and true. Just wore...
Heres a pic of a couple midwest dmaxes. Also rpm is down about 200 or so. Atleast im not spinning 2200 at 70 anymore. Thanks for letting my dad store grandmas car up at your place. Turns out your dads sister is alot like my dads sister:nonod:. Must be a michigan thing. Dad will make it right...
Here are some pics. I tried to get one showing how much tread is left but it came out crappy. These damn things are heavy though 75lbs a pop, compared to 50ish on the stock pizza cutters. Woohoo no more pizza cutters:D... except for burnouts, i dont discriminate):h
Its been nice here the past couple of days so i finally got to put my rims on my dmax. H2s w/265/70/17 Michelin LTX A/S'. My dad picked to rims up for me in texas. All 4 plus center caps were 225, so i got a fairly good deal. And picked the tires up for 100 bucks for all 4. The tires have 93,xxx...
There was a guy over on the other site, I think hes over here but im not for sure, but he swapped llys into his lb7 trucks, if you do end up swapping the whole motor you might have a talk with him. Over there he went by RickDLance, he knows his dmaxes.
On edit: I checked and rick is on here...
I would say around 250 with all the trucks. I only live 5 miles from work through town. Mileage sucks but atleast everything gets to operating temps. And I go home on the weekends and thats only 35 miles away. When i used to live a hour from work i was driving 500 miles a week at 4 dollers a gallon
Negative. Just some random. I did meet a couple powerstroke guys last night at the bar. Atleast they drove 7.3s but man they have done a ton of work just to get to 400hp.
We tried telling him that, but he was dead set that our trucks sucked and he could get that mileage out of his dodge... I offered to show him how to hand calculate, but i think he was offended:confused: then he just left the bar):h
Just thought i would pass this on because it made me laugh. After throwing a new tune on my buddies truck we went to the bar and shot some pool. Well my buddy started talking to this rancher guy who was braggin about one of those cummin mobiles. He was a little tipsy but said he could tow 16...
Well efi fixed the 1093... And the loss of power steering and brakes has vanished.... we are now onto a P0299. Ive decided that these llys are a little bit more sensitive to more power than lb7s or lbzs... I think the truck was having a bad day, it was just replaced with a lmm but was kept...
So my buddies truck is having a bit of a problem. First it threw a 1093 but have that issue fixed. Now he says that he cant turn and brake . I know both run together but there has never been anything wrong with the truck before. I havent been able to look at the truck in day time so i...
Hey just chiming in to say thanks. A buddys lly just threw this code last night and we were trying to figure why it would throw that code. So i guess cold and extra power equals llys not getting enough fuel... anyway thanks for your guys' knowledge on the subject:smile5:
I know the new trucks are different but i go from the top. No need to remove the fender, battery or bend the ac line. Im also a little taller than most but i think im gonna make a stand that works better than a milk crate or a sketchy stool.
Dad has a 2.5 ton craftsman from the 80s. Still gettin it done down in texas. I have a 3 ton craftsman, its 4 years old now and and no hiccups. A buddy of mine has a low pro 3 ton aluminum with quick lift. Dont remember the brand but damn that thing is nice
