Ok thanks ill look into that. Its about 55° outside today and after a ten minute drive no SES light coming on. So far it seems to be limited to the colder days
I currently just started having the intermittent SES light issue about a month ago. It started when the temperature started to drop for the winter. Started right before i noticed my OPS had crapped out and my LP wasnt running, but after the recent FRC-10 swap it stopped for about a week...
ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hello: My HX40WII is sitting on the shelf waiting, Let me know RD. Are you just doing the down pipe or will you be offering the whole kit like you did on ebay? If so i would like the kit but will take what i can get. Also interested in your manual boost control...
Ya, I was hoping to run the spring adjustable boost controller to solve that but we'll see, as much as i paid for the AFE i would hate to hack any part of it up.
Thanks, I try to make a habit of keeping my engine and truck clean but we are pretty lucky in my area as the weather is pretty mild, the most dirt this engine has seen is when hauling quads to the dunes :)
Please let me know what you currently have available for this swap, as i want to make sure i have everything before i start tearing into my burb, i also see you mention that you supply the reducers and T-bolt clamps that siliconeintakes.com does so i would rather go through you for everything i...
Super interested in this swap and want to pull the trigger on a HX40WII turbo, just making sure everything is still available for the kit, plus wanted to see if there was an update on the manual boost controller as well. I made alot of progress on my burb a couple years back and then it got put...
Thanks i appreciate that,
ya im in southeast Washington (Tri-Cities).
My burb is a 94, as far as the headlights go they are brighter than stock but i will be installing an HID kit soon, the halos look great when hooked up but didnt last long on mine or my buddies truck so i disconnected them.
Im running 285-75-16 Nitto Grapplers on mine, installed a 2inch block lift in the rear to level it out. I wanted to go with an aggressive look but i do use my burb for road trips and the Nitto's offer a very smooth ride
everybody has there own preference
My 94 burb has the GT4 3.73 FF with the 1 ton brakes as well, the guy i bought it from told me this when i picked it up but i was such a noob to these rigs when i first bought it that i didnt even give it any thought, but i learn more neat facts about it everyday, interesting stuff.
