Nice! and at the same time i could prob put one of your coolers between the Full flow and the remote mount kit for it correct? Just something im pondering is it doable to put something like this bypass filter kit between the Turbo and its oil feed? Mostly to protect the turbo with the bypass...
Yeesh! Finally finished reading this from start to finish..Think i started at like 10 pm last night! That truck has come a long way in the past couple years.
Sorry for digging this up but i gotta say, Nice Shop so far and KILLER V45!. I have an '85 as well and most of the mods you have done to yours are stuff i want to do to mine. If im not mistaken i think i actually seen your bike on a google search once when i was looking up info on the CBR wheel mod.
Cool will def search for that one! If im not mistaken the bypass was done to prevent the OPS from burning out. I will prob look into doing the OPS relocate around the same time as i add the relay.
So to understand everything i have read correctly. Your adapter pipe and adapter for the line will work to fit either an HX35 from a Dodge or the HX40II from ebay to our trucks? Im now starting to debate if i want to go to the larger turbo on my Sierra or just go with the Dodge Turbo on the 6.2...
From what i understand he didnt touch the OPS itself..Just disconnected the LP from it and wired it in directly so it is triggered by the Key not the OPS. At least thats how i understand it.
From what i understand of the description he gave me it sounds like he put it directly in the airbox...
Well i had a chat with the friend im buying the truck from and found out he has already done the following mods to it.
PMD relocation
bypassed the FFM and added a filter set up from a 6.2 with the spin on filters
bypassed the rollover switch on the lift pump
and advanced the timing on the IP...
